Laura Powel, CCC-SLP, COM

Since 2007, Laura Powell has dedicated her clinical skills to the treatment of orofacial myofunctional, articulation and voice disorders in patients of all ages. She is the owner of Therapy Unlimited, a private practice in Columbia, MO. Her professional successes have grated her the opportunity to present at various events sponsored by dental associations, including the Columbia Dental Society, the Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Dental Hygiene Club and AT Still University Osetopath and Dental School. She has also presented at the Missouri Speech-Language Hearing Association Conventions as well as Voice Symposiums at the University of Missouri.  

Laura is a graduate of Fontbonne University, where she earned her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. Since them, she’s put her passion and specialized skillset to work in private practices, outpatients clinics, otorlaryngology clinics, early childhood intervention sites and public schools. Currently, Laura is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM).
